From next week our Nursery children will be offered toast at the beginning of each Nursery session. Payment for this will come from our Nursery fund. Thank you to all parents who donate.

A reminder that Nursery are holding their Christmas party on Monday 15th December from 12.30 – 3.00pm for all Nursery children. There will be no morning Nursery session on this day.

Could all Nursery parents please remember to send your child in warm waterproof clothing and if you haven’t already done so, please send wellies in everyday. Thank you for your cooperation.

All of next week is ‘Looking After Ourselves’ week at Stead Lane and the children will be taking part in various activities so will need their full P.E. kit every day, suitable for indoors and outdoors. We are always trying to encourage the children to eat healthily and next week will be awarding the healthiest packed lunch with a prize. We have various leaflets to share with parents/carers and these will be displayed every day at 3.00pm in the hall.

From September 08 the children in Nursery and Reception will be following a new curriculum (EYFS). This will mean that the children will be spending more time outdoors (in various weather conditions). We do have some supplies of waterproof clothing but it would be much appreciated if all children could be provided with warm, waterproof outdoor clothing and a supply of spare clothes (particularly socks and trousers). Thank you for your co-operation.

We had a party to say farewell to our friends who are moving up into Reception in September. Mrs Olsen and Mrs Athey would like to say a big thank you for all of your support and all of the lovely presents they received. Happy holidays!!

There will be a final opportunity to claim any lost property in the school hall on Monday 21st July at 3.00pm. Any unclaimed items will be disposed of after this time.

School will close on Wednesday 23rd July at 1.30pm for the summer break and there will be no afternoon Nursery session on this day. Please fill out a reply slip (available from the office) so we know you are aware of this. Thank you.

Thank you to everyone who supported us at our 'Sports Day' events. We all had lots of fun!

Our Nursery children enjoyed a 'Teddy Bear's Picnic' in the special woods next to our school! We also had fun in the multi-sensory garden.

We had a great time during our farewell PEEP party!

The parents received their certificates for all the support they gave to the children and each other!

Our Nursery children will hold their sports day on Wednesday 16th July – 10.30am for morning children and 2.00pm for afternoon children. There will be refreshments, a tombola and raffle.

Our Nursery children would like to invite members of their families to join them for their family assemblies to be held on Thursday 12th June. The morning assembly will begin at 9.15am and the afternoon assembly at 2.15pm. We all hope to see you there.

Nursery invited their families to take part in their Family Activity Morning / Afternoon and the children made bears, choosing what size, colour and texture their bear would be.

Mrs. Athey helps little children in Nursery learn. She plays with the children and teaches them new things.

Mrs. Olsen teaches the children in Nursery to share and be nice. She gives little people a good education.
