The children will be learning all about how to stay safe at home and at school when using electronic communication devices (eg; computers, phones, ipods). At 2.45pm we are opening our doors early so that parents, grandparents and childminders can come and visit their children's classroom. Each class will do a short presentation about what they have been learning. I know, as a parent myself, that there may be times when you feel strongly about something that has happened in school and you want to speak to someone about it. But I also feel very strongly that we all, parents and staff alike, should set a good example to the children. As a school we pride ourselves in the fact that the children respect one another and respect all adults in the school. Parents swearing at and shouting at staff will not be tolerated and anyone doing so will be asked to leave the school premises. Staff are always willing to listen to your concerns but this should be done in a calm way, in private, with respect for those around you.
