We invited some older members of our community into our school for refreshments and to hear some of our Christmas songs.

We held our Christmas Fair on 1st December 2011 and alot of our children attended along with family and friends.

Our Spring Fair was a huge success. There were lots of exciting stalls to have a turn on, a cake stall, raffles, a tombola and lots more.

Our children had an exiting time on the 'Pride of Wansbeck' bus tour. We toured around our local area and earned lots of interesting things about where we live. We visited the iron works in Bedlington, the recycling centre at North Seaton, Newbiggin and Bothal.

Year 4 visited Alnwick Garden and Carole told us all about how the different water pools of the Grand Cascade are cleaned and cared for.
Each group were given a quiz by Mrs. O'Connor and we had to look around the garden to find our answers.
We looked at the water features and had great fun jumping across the rope bridge in the tree house!

Year 1 visited Bedlington Colliery Methodist Church and held a 'Christening' for their doll!

Year 3 visited Belsay Hall to look at the columns, as part of their Ancient Greece topic.

We visited Rising Sun Country Park to get ideas for our school garden. We made maps, built animal houses and used our senses to discover more about the outside world.
