STRIKE ACTION
Our school will be closed to all children on Wednesday 30th November 2011 due to strike action by staff. We are very sorry for any inconvenience.
HEADLICE DROP IN
The Pharmacist from Boots the Chemist in Bedlington will be in school next Friday morning, 2nd December, to talk to parents/carers about headlice and treatments. If you would like to come along please come to the main entrance at 9am after dropping your child off at their class. The talk will last between 10-15 minutes.
PIRATE PARTY
On Tuesday 29th November Reception children will be having a Pirate Party. If the children would like to come to school dressed as a pirate that would be great. We will be inviting afternoon Nursery to our party.
PARENTS & FRIENDS
Our Annual General Meeting will be held on Monday 9th January 2012 at the Red Lion in Bedlington. If you are interested in coming along please do.
CHRISTMAS FAIR & DISCO TICKETS
Our Christmas Fair & Disco will be held on Thursday 1st December 2010 from 5.00 - 7.00pm. Tickets cost £1.50 per child, children must be accompanied by an adult (adults are free). Tickets are available from the school office now.

Preparations are already underway for our Christmas Fair and we would appreciate donations of any of the following:
• Raffle Prizes - any new items would be greatly appreciated
• Bottles of Wine - any full bottles for our 'Water or Wine' stall
• Cakes - handed to a member of staff on the day please. Thank you very much.
ELF SHELF
We are once again holding our 'Elf Shelf' this year where children in main school can buy presents for parents & carers and wrap them ready to put under the tree! So we can buy enough gifts we need to know who would like to take part so would be grateful if you could complete the attached form and return it as soon as possible. Please do not send money yet, we need that on Monday 5th December. Thank you.
ST OSWALD'S CHRISTMAS CHUBBIES
