HARVEST FESTIVALS
Thank you to everyone who supported us at the services today and also for all of the food donations. We have made some fantastic food bags up for the elderly and needy in our area.
ECO- CLUB
There will be no Eco-Club on Wednesday 20th October. It will continue after half term. Sorry for any inconvenience.
FITNESS WEEK
Next week is fitness week here at Stead Lane and we have lots of fun activities planned for the children. Please make sure your child has indoor and outdoor P.E. kits in school every day next week as we don't want them to miss out on the fun!
SPONSORED FUN RUN
Our school councillors have organised a sponsored fun run for Thursday 21st October to raise funds to buy new P.E. equipment. If your child did not receive a sponsor form please call at the school office. Children are allowed to come to school on that day in P.E. kits (comfortable jogging bottoms etc;), as we have activities in the morning, and if they would like to change into fancy dress for the run in the afternoon, bring that in a named bag! We hope your child has managed to get sponsors from friends and family, please hand into school before Friday 5th November. Thank you very much.
HALF TERM
Our school will close at 3.00pm on Thursday 21st October for half term, we will re-open on Monday 1st November at 9.00am (8.00am for breakfast club).
PLAY RANGERS AFTER SCHOOL CLUB
'Play Rangers' are coming into our school for 4 weeks to run an after school play club for any child in Years 1 - 4 beginning on Tuesday 2nd November from 3.00 - 4.00pm. Could anyone interested please call at the school office. Thank you.
KS1 AFTER SCHOOL MULTI-SKILLS CLUB
We are offering a multi-skills club for children in Years 1 & 2 beginning on Thursday 4th November. Please call at the school office for more information.
SAMARITAN'S PURSE
This year we will be taking part in the Samaritan's Purse appeal and we are asking for your support. Today you will receive a leaflet with all the information about the appeal. Please fill a box and bring it to school before Wednesday 10th November. Thank you.
