YEAR 3 FAMILY ASSEMBLY
Our Year 3 children would like to invite their family and friends into our school at 9.10am on Monday 19th July for their family assembly. We hope to see you there!
DISCO
We are holding a summer disco for our children on Wednesday 21st July from 5.30 - 7.00pm. Tickets for the event cost £1.50 and are available from the school office. Staff will be on duty so parents do not need to stay. Refreshments will be available during the event.
YEAR 4 LEAVER'S ASSEMBLY
Our Year 4 leaver's assembly is at 9.10am on Thursday 22nd July 2010. Our Year 4 children welcome all family and friends into school for this event. Tissues are a must!
YEAR 4 LEAVERS
Several children have asked if they may have their polo shirt signed by friends and staff following their leaver's assembly. We think this will be a good memento of their time at Stead Lane. If you do not wish your child to have their top signed please inform Mr Whitehead before Thursday 22nd July. Thank you.
BREAK UP FOR SUMMER
School will close after lunch on Friday 23rd July at 1.00pm for the summer break and there will be no afternoon Nursery session on this day. Thank you.
NON-UNIFORM DAY
On Friday 23rd July we are allowing children into school in non-uniform and they may bring a toy (it will be the child's responsibility to look after their toy so nothing valuable please).
HEALTHY TUCK SHOP
Today we were selling the remainder of our stock at the tuck shop so apologies if your child did not manage to purchase anything, there will be no healthy tuck shop next Friday 23rd July 2010. The tuck shop will resume in September. Thank you.
DINNER MONEY
From September dinner money will increase to £1.95 per day (£9.75 per week). For the first week back, Wednesday 8th - Friday 10th September, dinner money will be £5.85.
WINNING HOUSE REWARD
The race is still on for our winning team this term and we won't find out until Wednesday morning who the winners are but we are planning a 'cinema experience' in the hall for the lucky children - a good movie, sweets, juice and popcorn!
SCHOOL READING & LIBRARY BOOKS
Could you please make sure your child has returned their school home reading books and any library books they may have at home as soon as possible. Thank you.
