STEAD LANE GOES FOOTY MAD!
This week our children have been enjoying a varied menu of activities in anticipation of the forthcoming world cup. Each class chose a different team, to learn about the country, its history and traditions and even sampled food from around the world! For example in Year 4 this week the children have been learning about Brazil, Leah Dillon said,
"I've really enjoyed painting and making my carnival mask. This morning we are going to dance and play Brazilian music for our school carnival outside." She added, "It's been fun!" Look out for photos coming soon!
LOST SPECTACLES
One of our Year 1 children has misplaced her glasses. If anyone has seen them please let a member of staff know. Thank you.
CHALLENGER REWARD
Well done to our Challenger team who won the merit race last term. As a reward they have chosen a bowling trip on Wednesday 16th June 2010. If your child is in Challenger please return their consent form as soon as possible as they will not be allowed out of school without it.
EARLY RISER'S FRISBEE CLUB
