ECO WEEK
Just a reminder that our children will be working on a whole school Eco project next week. Each class will have a different focus:
Nursery/Reception - Endangered Species
Year 1 - Rainforests
Year 2 - Water Conservation
Year 3 - Recycling
Year 4 - Newsroom - reporting on events in school.
If you can help your child find any information for their project, that would be very helpful.
Also, please remember to keep collecting your junk for our model competition and send it into school.
GREEN DAY!
On Friday 23rd October we will hold a non-uniform day for children to come to school dressed in something GREEN. There will be no charge but children are asked to bring cakes which will be on sale at playtime (20p each), proceeds to go to an environmental charity chosen by our school council.
HARVEST THANKS
Thank you to everyone who donated produce to our Harvest Festival, we have sent out lots of bulging bags of goodies to needy people in our local area. Also thank you to everyone who attended our services at church - our children were, as always, fantastic!
SCHOOL PHOTOGRAPHER
The photographer will be in school on Thursday 22nd October taking individual and/or family shots of your children. If you have not already returned your form with regards to which photos to take, please do so as soon as possible.
NO HEALTHY TUCK SHOP
There will be no Healthy Tuck Shop on Friday 23rd October because of our cake morning.
HALF TERM HOLIDAY
School closes next Friday, 23rd October 2009 at 3.00pm and re-opens on Monday 2nd November at 9.00am (8.00am for Breakfast Club).
