ECO WEEK
Between Monday 19th - Friday 23rd October we will be launching an 'Eco Week' at school to raise environmental awareness amongst our children. We will be taking part in Northumberland County Council's 'Eco Start' project. Activities during the week will include a litter pick, 'compost collage' and a visit for Year 4 to Plessey Woods. On Friday 23rd October we will hold a non-uniform day for children to come to school dressed in something GREEN. There will be no charge but children are asked to bring cakes which will be on sale at playtime (20p each), proceeds to go to an environmental charity chosen by our school council. During the week, we will also be holding a junk modelling competition with a prize for each class for the child who makes the most creative model using old rubbish - so please start saving your boxes, plastic bottles etc!

YEAR 3 VISIT TO NEWCASTLE
