BREAK UP FOR SUMMER
School will close after lunch on Friday 24th July at 1.00pm for the summer break and there will be no afternoon Nursery session on this day. Please complete a reply slip which we need you to return to school as soon as possible so we know you are aware of this. Thank you.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank parents once again for their continued support over the year and hope you all have an enjoyable summer break. We look forward to seeing everyone back, refreshed and ready to work on Wednesday 9th September 2009.
BREAKFAST CLUB
Our Breakfast Club is non-profit making and costs £1.00 per day. Money must be paid daily or in advance. Please be aware if your child misses payment for one day they will not be allowed to attend the next day.
SUMMER DISCO
We are holding a Summer Disco on Wednesday 22nd July 2009 from 5.30 - 7.00pm. Tickets cost £1.50 and are available at the school office. There will be hot dogs and tuck on sale during the event. Adults do not need to attend the disco as staff will be on duty.
SCHOOL UNIFORM
Reminder - to claim your free uniform orders must be in by Friday 24th July 2009. Uniform will be available for collection between 11.00am - 2.00pm on Monday and Tuesday 7th and 8th September 2009.
YEAR 4 LEAVER'S ASSEMBLY
Our Year 4 children would like to invite their families into our school at 9.15am on Thursday 23rd July to join them for their leaver's assembly. We hope to see you all there. (Tissues are a must!)
YEAR 4 LEAVERS
Several children have asked if they may have their polo shirt signed by friends and staff following their leaver's assembly. We think this will be a good memento of their time at Stead Lane. If you do not wish your child to have their top signed please inform Mr Whitehead before Thursday 23rd July. Thank you.
NON-UNIFORM DAY
On Friday 24th July we are allowing children into school in non-uniform and they may bring a toy (it will be the child's responsibility to look after their toy so nothing valuable please).
HEALTHY TUCK SHOP
There will be no healthy tuck shop on Friday 24th July 2009. The tuck shop will resume in September. Thank you.
LOST PROPERTY
We have a rather full lost property box, the contents of which will be displayed in the school hall on Thursday 23rd July at 3.00pm and Friday 24th before 9.00am for parents and children. After these times the left items will be discarded.
