ANNUAL PUPIL REPORTS
Your child has been handed their end of year report today. While every effort is made to proof read each report, occasionally typos do go unnoticed. If you spot a mistake, your child's teacher will be happy to produce an amended version!
We also require written confirmation that you have received your child's report. Please complete the reply slip and return to school. Any comments you would like to make are always welcome.
STARS IN THEIR EYES
Tickets for our 'Stars in their eyes' event are on sale now from the school office. The event is on Tuesday 14th July at 6.30pm and tickets cost £1.50 each. Please buy as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
APPEAL FOR RAFFLE PRIZES
We are hoping to hold a raffle during our 'Stars in their Eyes' event so prizes for this would be greatly appreciated. Please hand any donations to a member of staff. Thank you.
YEAR 3 FAMILY ASSEMBLY
Our Year 3 children would like to invite their families into our school at 9.15am on Wednesday 15th July to join them for their assembly where you will get the chance to take a look at some of the things your child has been doing this year. We hope to see you all there.
YEAR 1 VISIT TO GREAT NORTH MUSEUM HANCOCK
Our Year 1 children are to visit the museum on Wednesday 15th July 2009. Please return your reply slip and payment as soon as possible as your child will not be allowed to attend the visit without them. Thank you.
MAIN SCHOOL SPORTS DAY
Our sports day will be held on Thursday 16th July at 1.30pm (weather permitting!) for all children in main school. We would like all children to bring a top in the colour of their house to wear along with their P.E. shorts for the sports afternoon. The house colours are: Endeavour - yellow, Voyager - blue, Explorer - green and Challenger - red. Thank you for your cooperation. We hope to see you all there!
SUMMER DISCO
We are holding a Summer Disco on Wednesday 22nd July 2009 from 5.30 - 7.00pm. Tickets cost £1.50 and are available at the school office from Monday. There will be hot dogs and tuck on sale during the event. Adults do not need to attend the disco as staff will be on duty.
RACE FOR LIFE
Some of our staff members are taking part in the 'Race for Life' this Sunday 12th July 2009 to raise money for Cancer Research. They would greatly appreciate any donations you are willing to make for this worthy cause. MOBILE PHONE RECYCLING
Thank you to everyone who donated their old mobile phones to our recycling project. With your help we have raised some funds for our school.
SURE START 'DAD'S SPORTS DAY'
On Saturday 11th July 2009 Sure Start are holding a Dad's sports day with lots of activities for all the family. Everyone is welcome to go along, if you require any more information contact Sally Barrett on 01670 822714.
