ENTERPRISE WEEK
The first week back after the half term break we are taking part in an 'Enterprise Week' funded by WEEN. Our children will be given an insight into different people's jobs and will be thinking about 'What I want to be when I grow up'. We have arranged lots of activities and outings for this week detailed below. If your child's class has an outing during that week a consent slip is needed so you can give permission for your child to go. Please call at the office for these on Monday 1st June 2009 if you do not already have one.

FIRE FIGHTERS CHARITY FUNDRAISER
We are supporting the 'Fire Fighters Charity' while raising money for our school by taking part in a recycling scheme. As you bring your children to school on Thursday 11th June there will be a van parked in the main school driveway waiting for your items to be recycled. We ask that you put any unwanted clean, dry clothing, sheets, curtains and towels into one bag and shoes, belts and handbags into another then bring them to school with you on this day. On your way into the school grounds you can then load them into the van - you get tidier cupboards, the 'Fire Fighters Charity' receives a donation and so do our school! So please over the half term break clean out those cupboards! (Please be aware that because of lack of storage space, school cannot accept any bags before this date). Thank you.
MISSING SWEATSHIRT
A Reception child has lost their school sweatshirt, it has the school logo on and the tag has been cut out. If your child has taken it home by mistake please return it as soon as possible.
HALF TERM HOLIDAY
School closes today for the half term break and re-opens on Monday 1st June at 9.00am (8.00am for Breakfast Club).
