NURSERY MATERNITY COVER
Mrs Mallin leaves us next Friday to start her maternity leave and we all wish her lots of luck with her new baby, Miss Collingwood will be in Nursery with Mrs Athey until the end of the school year.

STEPPING STONES
Our Year 2 children and parents who have taken part in this term's Stepping Stones reading group are invited to their last session on Tuesday 31st March at 2.15pm. Please return all resource packs on this day. Thank you.
SPRING FAIR
We are holding our Spring Fair on Wednesday 1st April 2009 from 1.00 - 3.00pm, this is a family event and we ask that you accompany your child. We have various events for all of the family. Tickets cost £1.50 per child (adults free) and this includes juice, crisps and a turn on a number of our activities, extra attractions will also be available at a small charge. Tickets can be reserved at the office and they will be distributed to your child just before the fair begins. Please note: only children who purchase a ticket and have an accompanying adult will be allowed to enjoy the fair - unfortunately children without an adult will stay in class and not take any part. We hope to see you all there.
SPRING FAIR APPEAL
During our Spring Fair we will be having a toy and book stall, bric-a-brac stall, tombola, raffles for adults and children and a cake stall. If you could donate to any of these stalls it would be greatly appreciated. So please empty your cupboards!
EASTER SERVICES
Unfortunately due to a double booking at Bedlington Colliery Methodist Church our KS1 Easter service is on Thursday 2nd April at 1.00pm at the church not 10.00am as previously stated. Our KS2 service is at 2.00pm in the school hall on the same day. Our KS1 service at 1.00pm will be finished in time for parents to get back to school for our KS2 service for those who have children in both. Sorry for any inconvenience caused. We hope to see you all there.
YEAR 4 HELPING AFRICA
Next Friday Year 4 invites all children to bring their copper into school to make a money line to raise money for their Enterprise Africa Scheme. Each class will have the opportunity to make as many lines as possible. Please give generously.
ST OSWALD'S BEANIES
Unfortunately we have been notified by St Oswald's that due to high demand there has been a delay with supplies of the Easter beanies so therefore we may not receive them before we break up next Friday. If anyone would like a refund please call at the school office.
EASTER BREAK
School closes on Friday 3rd April at 3.00pm for the Easter break and re-opens on Monday 20th April. On the last day children are allowed to bring toys into school.
