SICKNESS
As a number of children have been ill this week with a sickness bug, could we remind parents that it is school policy that children must not return to school until 48 hours after the last time they vomited. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.
STEPPING STONES
Our Stepping Stones Reading Group will be on this Tuesday 10th February at 2.15pm, could parents of children who attend, please meet at the main school entrance with your child's pack.
VALENTINE DISCO
Tickets for our disco on Thursday 12th February are now on sale from the school office. Tickets cost £1.50. There will be hot dogs, tuck shop and a children's raffle during the event. (Any donations for the raffle would be greatly appreciated).
YEAR 1 FAMILY ACTIVITY MORNING
Our Year 1 children would like to invite members of their family to join in their activity morning on Thursday 12th February at 10.00am. Please meet at the main school entrance.
NURSERY/RECEPTION FUNDRAISING DAY
As described in last week's newsletter, recent changes in the curriculum have meant that all children in Nursery and Reception are spending a great deal of their time outdoors in all weathers. We appreciate that most of our parents provide warm, waterproof clothing but that it can be distressing and time consuming to keep this clothing dry and clean. In order to overcome this problem we would like your help in raising some funds to buy waterproof trousers and coats for all our foundation stage children. We would like to invite you to our fundraising day on Thursday 12th February. We will be holding 2 sessions - one at 10.30am and the other at 2.00pm (we are aware that there are other events on at this time so we would welcome your attendance at either session).
We would also welcome any donations you can provide for tombola and raffle stalls.

YEAR 2 VISIT TO HOLY ISLAND
We have re-arranged our visit to Holy Island. The visit will now take place on Monday 2nd March 2009. All other details of the trip remain the same. If you have not already done so, please return your reply slip and payment to us before this date as your child will not be allowed to leave school without your consent. Thank you.
