CHRISTMAS MESSAGE
With another term almost over, I would like to take this opportunity, once again, to thank all our parents and friends of Stead Lane for your continued interest and support in our school. It’s been another busy term, with a very successful Ofsted Inspection, numerous trips and visitors, our mural project, Christmas shows, fair and parties, we’re all now ready for a well earned rest! We look forward to seeing you all again on Wednesday 7th January. Have a very Merry Christmas and best wishes for 2009.

CHRISTMAS PERFORMANCES
A big thank you to everyone who attended our Christmas performances and carol services, the children all performed really well and we all thoroughly enjoyed them.
YEAR 3 VISIT If you have not already done so, please make sure that your child brings their reply slip and £2.00 on Wednesday 7th January for the visit to Sunderland Winter Gardens on Thursday 8th January, as your child will not be allowed to attend the trip without your consent.
YEAR 1 VISIT
We are in the process of planning a visit to Newbiggin for Monday 12th January for our Year 1 children. Your child will receive information regarding the visit on our first day back.
