CHRISTMAS PARTIES
The class Christmas parties are to be held as follows:
Nursery & Reception - Monday 15th December (NO MORNING NURSERY SESSION ON THIS DAY – ALL CHILDREN TO ATTEND IN THE AFTERNOON PLEASE)
Years 1 & 2 - Tuesday 16th December
Years 3 & 4- Thursday 18th December
School will provide a drink of juice for all children, could parents please provide some food. So we have a variety, could boys please bring savoury items and girls bring sweet except Nursery who will be informed by Mrs Mallin or Mrs Athey of what to bring. Thank you.
Children are allowed to come to school in their party clothes on those days or they can bring them to change into.
KS2 CAROL SERVICE
Our Years 3 and 4 children are holding their annual carol service at Bedlington Colliery Methodist Church on Wednesday 17th December at 10.00am. All family and friends are welcome to meet us there.
RECEPTION & KS1 CAROLS AROUND THE TREE
Our Reception and Years 1 and 2 children will perform ‘Carols Around the Tree’ at 2.00pm on Wednesday 17th December in the school hall. All family and friends are welcome to attend.
RECEPTION VISIT TO WHITEHOUSE FARM
If you have not already done so, could you please return your child’s consent form and payment to school as soon as possible for the trip on Thursday 18th December, spare copies are available from the office. Thank you.
CHRISTMAS EARLY CLOSURE
On Friday 19th December school will close at 1.30pm for the Christmas break. Please find attached a reply slip for you to complete and return.
PLEASE NOTE: There will be no afternoon Nursery session on Friday 19th December.
School will re-open on Wednesday 7th January.
YEAR 3 VISIT TO SUNDERLAND WINTER GARDENS
Our Year 3 children are to visit Sunderland Winter Gardens on Thursday 8th January 2009. Please complete and return the attached consent form and payment as soon as possible.
CHRISTMAS FAIR & DISCO
Thank you to everyone who attended our Christmas Fair. We all had great fun and raised over £600 for our school funds!

We have 3 unclaimed raffle prizes from our Christmas Fair & Disco. They are as follows:

HEAD LICE
Unfortunately more cases of head lice have been reported in Reception and Year 2, please check your child’s hair regularly. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.
YEAR 1 WATER BOTTLES
We have a number of unclaimed water bottles in Year 1, some of which were brought with them when they moved from Reception. If your child has misplaced their water bottle please ask a member of staff as soon as possible as any that remain unclaimed will be disposed of.
