LOOKING AFTER OURSELVES WEEK
This week our children have enjoyed a wide range of activities along the theme of ‘Looking After Ourselves”. The children have worked with policemen and fire fighters, enjoyed cookery demonstrations from ‘Expochef’ and keep fit from Bedlington High School. MISSING CLOTHING
In Year 1, 2 cardigans and a P.E. kit have gone missing. Please check that your child has not picked up someone else’s items instead of their own and return any to school as soon as possible. Thank you.
TRIPS FOR YEARS 2, 3 & 4
On Monday 3rd November Year 1 are to visit Blyth Fire Station, on Tuesday 4th November Year 3 are to visit Woodhorn Colliery and on Wednesday 5th November Year 4 are to visit Arbeia Roman Fort. If you have not already returned your child’s reply slip for any of these trips, please do so as soon as possible. Thank you.
FAREWELL & HELLO!
Mrs Wing leaves today to begin her maternity leave, we wish her all the very best. Mr Eckford will be our new Year 1 teacher after the half term break.
BEDLINGTON COLLIERY METHODIST CHURCH CHRISTMAS FAIR
Bedlington Colliery Methodist Church are holding their Christmas Fair tomorrow, Saturday 25th October at 10.30am. There will be gifts, cards and toiletries plus a cake stall, raffle and tombola. Refreshments will also be available so please come along.
HALF TERM BREAK
School closes today for the half term break and re-opens on Monday 3rd November 2008.

You can purchase a ‘Wheely Great Family Planner’ from Brake, the road safety charity. For every planner our school sells, we receive a donation towards buying educational resources. If you are interested please call at the school office for a leaflet.
