READING CHALLENGE
Well done to everyone who took part in our reading challenge! We managed to complete the challenge so our children have enjoyed treats this afternoon. Thank you to everyone who helped us to raise money for our school library and International Book Aid. If you have not already handed in your sponsor money please do so as soon as possible.
NEW CYCLE SHELTERS
As you may have noticed our cycle shelters are now finished. Please fill in a letter (available from the office) if your child is interested.
NURSERY OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES
Nursery have lots of outdoor activities planned for the Summer term so please make sure that your children are protected from the sun. We have sun lotion in Nursery which you are welcome to use when you drop your child off.
YEAR 1 VISIT TO BLUE REEF AQUARIUM
We have arranged for Year 1 to visit Blue Reef Aquarium, Tynemouth on Tuesday 20th May 2008. Please complete a reply slip and return to school asap.(available from the office)
CLASS ASSEMBLIES
This term you are invited to your child’s class assembly. Our children will be sharing their work with the whole school and will be very disappointed if you can’t make it! We aim to start around 9.10am so get in prompt for a good seat. Please see events for more details.
SUNNY WEATHER
As you are aware the children play outside at break time and lunch time each day and also on occasion have lessons outside so please apply sun cream in the morning before they come to school. We also recommend that children bring a cap/sunhat on sunny days.
