TEACHER TRAINING DAY
Please note: we have a teacher training day on Friday 2nd May and as it is bank holiday on Monday 5th May, school will close on Thursday 1st May and re-open on Tuesday 6th May.
STEAD LANE BOOK WEEK
As mentioned in a previous newsletter, we are holding a book week next week, where the children will enjoy various activities. On Monday the children will get the chance to read in our reading tent, on Tuesday we are holding a coffee afternoon at 2.00pm where our drama group will be performing their play and there will also be a book fair. On Wednesday we are having a visit from a fantastic storyteller who is sure to thrill the children and our book fair will be open again from 3.00pm. On our final day, Thursday 1st May we hope that everyone will come to school dressed as a character from a book.
YEAR 4 FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT
The football tournament at Meadowdale Middle School which was supposed to take place yesterday, has been rescheduled for Thursday 8th May. The permission letter that you received before the holidays will cover the rescheduled event but if you have not already returned this letter please do so as soon as possible.
FAMILY FOOTBALL CLUB
We are holding family football events starting on Thursday 1st May. Please see letter attached.
PEER MASSAGE
On Tuesday 6th May from 4 - 5.30pm we are holding a peer massage session. Any child is welcome to attend accompanied by an adult. If you are interested please inform Mrs. Burn in the school office.
NAME LABELS
Please find attached information regarding name labels which are a good buy to ensure your child’s uniform does not become lost.

For all children in main school, please find attached an envelope containing information from the Student Support Centre.
