Welcome to Stead Lane First School
We hope you find this website useful, interesting and fun.
The staff at Stead Lane First School work together to ensure that our children enjoy learning in a supportive atmosphere of mutual trust and respect. Through an enriched and creative curriculum they are equipped with the knowledge and skills which will enable them to become independent life-long learners.
Our children are encouraged to become responsible citizens and make a positive contribution to society. With confidence in their own ability to succeed, they will leave our school with a belief in themselves and the ability to fulfil their true potential.
By regularly visiting our site you can keep up to date with events and activities happening at school, be it sporting achievements, photos from class visits or a news update from our active School Council. Year 4 leavers assembly
Year 4 held a very emotional farewell assembly. We were pleased to see lots of members of our families there to support us. Stead Lane wishes all of their Year 4 leavers 'Good Luck' for the future!

Nursery last day party
We had a party to say farewell to our friends who are moving up into Reception in September. Mrs Olsen and Mrs Athey would like to say a big thank you for all of your support and all of the lovely presents they received. Happy holidays!!

Lost Property
There will be a final opportunity to claim any lost property in the school hall on Monday 21st July at 3.00pm. Any unclaimed items will be disposed of after this time.

Early Closure
School will close on Wednesday 23rd July at 1.30pm for the summer break and there will be no afternoon Nursery session on this day. Please fill out a reply slip (available from the office) so we know you are aware of this. Thank you.
